Free, open, offline parametric CAD. For everyone, everywhere, forever.
Offline
Runs fully offline. The only network call is the update check, and only when you ask for it.
No accounts, no telemetry, no paid tier
Nothing to sign up for, nothing sent home, no locked feature. It asks nothing of anyone.
Everything is scriptable
Everything the UI does, a Python script can do. The command set is the same for both.
Parametric CAD is the shortest path between thinking of a part and making it, and that path is closed to most people today. I am building YontaCAD to change that: free, offline, without accounts, without telemetry; your files stay with you, it sends nothing to anyone unless you ask it to, and it stays free forever. There is no company, foundation or institution behind it; I cover its costs myself, and it asks nothing of anyone. If one day a part drawn in YontaCAD is made in a workshop, on a kitchen table or in a dorm room, this work will have reached its purpose.

In development. The public repository and the download come after the camps on the roadmap.
Yonta comes from the Turkish verb yontmak: to carve a form out of raw material.
